Start in Garachico
Walk the historic centre and coast, then decide whether sea conditions make natural pools suitable. Follow local safety notices and do not enter closed areas.
Continue towards Los Silos
The route becomes quieter, with rural scenery and small-town stops. Use official parking and take time for a local lunch rather than trying to cover too much.
Teno and mountain roads
Access rules and road conditions can change. Check official information before heading into mountain areas, drive patiently and avoid unsafe stopping points.
Make it a full day
Start early, take water and a layer, and leave enough daylight for the return. Isla Baja is best enjoyed with time to wander.
