Stargazing near Teide<\/strong> is one of Tenerife\u2019s most memorable experiences, especially when the sky is clear. It is also a high-altitude night activity, so safe planning matters more than chasing a perfect photograph.<\/p>\n

Check weather and moon phase<\/h2>\n

Cloud, wind and moonlight affect what you can see. Use current forecasts and official road information; do not make a mountain journey based only on a general prediction.<\/p>\n

Prepare for cold and altitude<\/h2>\n

Night temperatures can be far lower than on the coast. Take warm layers, water, food, a charged phone and suitable footwear. If altitude affects you, descend rather than pushing on.<\/p>\n

Drive safely<\/h2>\n

Mountain roads are dark and winding. Keep fuel in the car, avoid stopping in unsafe places and return before tiredness becomes a risk. Never obstruct the road for a night-sky photo.<\/p>\n
