Arico<\/strong> offers a quieter side of south-east Tenerife: rural landscapes, small coastal stops and the well-known fishing village of Tajao. It is best explored by car at an unhurried pace.<\/p>\n

Visit Tajao for the coast and food<\/h2>\n

Tajao is known for seafood restaurants and a working-coast atmosphere. Check opening times, book in busy periods and treat the harbour area with respect.<\/p>\n

Rural Tenerife<\/h2>\n

Inland Arico has dry volcanic scenery, terraced land and roads that reveal a less resort-focused island. Use navigation carefully and do not block narrow local access roads when stopping.<\/p>\n

Beach and sea safety<\/h2>\n

Small coves and coastal areas can be appealing, but conditions vary. Follow local notices and choose a supervised beach if the sea is rough.<\/p>\n
